The Blue Box Group story opens in 1986 with the incorporation of Blue Box, specialised in the production of air conditioning plants for large spaces.

Rapid growth due to the enormous success that the company had on the market thanks to the revolutionary move in 1987 into the design and manufacture of  chillers with screw compressors, being the first manufacturer in Italy to  realize the benefit of this product destined to leave a mark on the entire industry.

CONTINUOUS EVOLUTION

In 1992 Air Blue joins the original company, specialized in the production of air conditioning for residential applications and for high-tech rooms.

In 1993 Green Box was established, specializing in water chillers and  thermo-regulators for industrial process cooling.

In 1996 Blue Frost was established to specialize in refrigeration for food storage applications and other industrial processes requiring very low temperatures.

In 1996 separation of the after-sales service to incorporate a new company under the name of Blue Service to offer the after-sales service to all the companies in the Group and also to be active as installation management.

In 2001 acquisition of Aertesi, specialized in design and manufacturing of  fan coil units.

In 2002 inauguration of the new Permanent Representation Office in Shanghai, China.

The need to seek increasingly effective and competitive forms of  organisation in the global market, led 3 of the companies, Blue Box, Air Blue and Blue Frost to merge in 2004 into the Blue Box Group.

In 2005 Blue Box sets up its commercial sister company in France.

In 2006 Blue Box establishes its commercial sister company in Spain.

The Group is then organised to offer to its customer basis a comprehensive range of products able to satisfy any need in air conditioning applications.

20 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

In 2006 Blue Box Group is engaging around 350 workforce and performing its  activity from 5 production facilities. Blue Box Group performs a turnover of  approximately 70 Millions Euro. The Blue Box Group production destined to the export market is 60%. We are selling our products in 50 different countries all  over the world which are then used in very different ambient conditions. \

In 2007 a new factory of a total covered area of 22,000 sqm on a land of 50,000 sqm will be completed, to house the production of Blue Box, Air Blue and Blue Frost range.
